Netizens call is ‘disgraceful’
From calling it a “disgraceful” step from royal family to questioning why COVID-19 guidelines are different for m, internet users unleashed severe criticism on social media. While Royal family posted ims from event on Twitter, hundreds of British citizens, as well as or people, commented on why y need to “set an example” inste to motivating people to violate government-proposed precautionary measures. However, Queen and Prince William were seen maintaining distance.

After pictures garnered a massive amount of attraction, Buckingham palace reportedly said that Queen h decided to t wear a mask only on consultation of her physicians and scientists at research facility. Meanwhile, as per iTV report, at least 48 people who were supposed to come in close contact with members of royal family were tested for COVID-19 and results were negative. Sky News reported that media personnel were t allowed close to visitors and Queen h arrived by helicopter while Prince William arrived by car. Despite measures, netizens seemed unimpressed.
Just last week, Buckingham palace h informed that Queen's daughter-in-law, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was under home-quarantine after her potential exposure to COVID-19. This was t first time a member of royal family h to self-isolate due to risk of contracting vel coronavirus. Earlier this year, both Prince Charles and Camilla h quarantined mselves separately after Charles began experiencing mild symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19 while Camilla tested negative. Since n, Prince of Wales has fully recovered.
