Amid coronavirus pandemic, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have reportedly cancelled their royal wedding

Amid coronavirus pandemic, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have reportedly cancelled ir royal wedding. Back in March, Princess Beatrice h scaled backed her wedding plans and cancelled planned reception which was due to be held in Buckingham Palace in May. 

While speaking to an international media outlet, a spokesperson for couple said that re are, however, plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding. spokesperson ded that couple isn’t even thinking about wedding at this time. Furrmore, spokesperson said that when time will come to rearrange, y will let everyone kw, but time is 't yet'.

As per reports, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo were due to marry in London’s St James’s Palace on May 29 and Queen Elizabeth was scheduled to throw a private party in Buckingham Palace Gardens as well. However, in a bid to prevent virus from spreing, royal wedding plans are w changed. Earlier in March, Buckingham Palace reportedly said that couple were aware of need to avoid taking any unnecessary risks and h given a thought to ir plans in light of government vice.

palace purportedly said in a statement that y are basically concerned about government vice in relation to both wellbeing of older family members and large garings of people.  palace furr ded that planned reception in Buckingham Palace Gardens will t occur. Furrmore, in a bid to contain spre from spreing, palace also cancelled ir annual garden parties and a series of or events.

Royal family contributes to COVID-19

With an increasing number of coronavirus cases in United Kingdom, Royal Family is doing ir bit to help government overcome crisis. Currently, UK has more than 103,000 confirmed cases and dely virus has claimed nearly 13,729 lives in country. While Princess Beatrice is cancelling her wedding plans, Prince William, on or hand, is working with NET to help vulnerable. Prince Charles also recently opened a new 4,000-bed temporary hospital in a conference centre in east London. According to official NHS website, hospital is built in Bristol and Harrogate to provide beds if local services need m during peak of coronavirus.
