Royal writer: Britons 'rejoicing' Meghan Markle's absence from Coronation

After report came out that Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle will not attend coronation of King Charles III, reports are emerging that Britons are happy with news. Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace announced that youngest son of British Monarch, Prince Harry would take part in coronation. palace also stated that former American actress will sit this one out and will remain in her California mansion. “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that Duke of Sussex will attend coronation service,” a palace spokesman asserted. “ Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,” he ded. highly publicised royal couple left UK royal family in 2020 and since n rift between m and family has intensified. 

On Friday, Writer and Journalist Sophie Elsworth spoke to Sky News and expressed her shock over news. She claimed that Duchess of York is “obsessed with being in media”. She also asserted that Brits might be “rejoicing”, absence of Duchess from historic royal event. “I can’t believe that woman is not going because she’s obsessed with herself,” she ded. One of reasons why Meghan is not attending event can be fact that date of coronation clashes with birthday of couple’s oldest son, Prince Archie. While King’s coronation is scheduled to take place on May 6, Prince Archie will turn 4 on same day.

Some of UK members of Parliament even pushed for royal couple getting stripped of ir royal titles. In midst of all chaos, speculations remained quite prevalent about wher Duke and Duchess of Sussex take part in King’s coronation or not.
