British Prime Minister Boris Johnson anunced on September 23, UK might take part in coordinated military action in middle east if US asks to do so. statement came with regard to formal identification of Iran as perpetrator behind drone and missile strikes on Saudi Arabia's Aramco plant on September 14. Johnson gave aforementioned information at New York where he will be attending UN General Assembly. Prime Minister was quoted saying UK wanted to de-escalate tensions but did t rule out probability of taking military action.

Saudi Arabia, US& UK blame Iran for Aramco attacks
Three countries- UK, US and Saudi Arabia- collectively blame Iran for attack on Aramco plants. earlier claim by Houthi rebels possibly attacking Aramco has been dismissed. However, Tehran continues denying any involvement. Khurais oil field and Abqaiq oil processing facility in eastern Saudi Arabia which is a key part of country's oil production infrastructure was crippled after drone and cruise missile attacks. About 50% of oil production was affected.

Earlier Mike Pompey, US Secretary of State, h called attacks an act of war. On or hand, on sidelines of UN event, Johnson plans to meet Iranian President Rouhani and US President. He me it clear that he would provide all assistance for solving issue. He said that everyone ones to do what y can to bring world toger in response to what happened in Saudi Arabia in our manment of Iran. Johnson reiterated UK and Saudi Arabia's blame on Iran for strikes saying that current difficulty is organizing a global response to it. He ded that UK, US, and or European countries will work toger to de-escalate tensions in Gulf.

Britain too believes facts and points to Iranian involvement which British government has concluded is implausible without authorization by Iranian government. When reporters at New York asked wher UK will rule out military action and stick with Iran nuclear deal, Johnson said that UK too will be defending Saudi Arabia like US. When asked for assistance, UK will make itself useful, he ded. Pressed on wher this could mean Britain taking part in military action, he replied that all plans will be considered as per requirements.
