UK announces 917 more virus deaths

UK Home Secretary Priti Patel announced on Saturday a further 917 coronavirus-related deaths across the nation.

Patel also delivered an update on national crime, saying that although figures had gone down, crimes against vulnerable groups had gone up due to the lockdown measures.

Police were praised for enforcing social distancing measures, and Patel warned fines could be given to those who ignore the guidelines.
