UK bans Chinese envoy Zeguang from Parliament over sanctions on British MPs

Chinese envoy to the UK Zheng Zeguang has been banned from its Parliament over sanctions imposed on British MPs over remarks on human rights abuses in Xinjiang.

China's Ambassor to UK Zheng Zeguang has been banned from UK Parliament. Zheng Zeguang was planned to attend a meeting organised by All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on China but he was informed that he cant join it.  ban comes to fore as China sanctioned a handful of anti-China parliamentarians of UK in March. 

Chinese authorities imposed sanctions on some of UK Members of Parliament for ir remarks on alleged human rights violations against Uyghur mirities in Xinjiang.  participation of Zeguang was cancelled after a letter from sanctioned members of Parliament and House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle. letter that was written against holding meeting was signed by Conservative Party Member of Parliament Ian Duncan Smith, Tim Loughton, Nusrat Ghani and Chair of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee Tom Tugendhat.

UK bans Chinese Envoy From Parliament

In letter, British MP's stated that Chinese authorities have t me any effort to reverse sanctions. House of Lords Speaker John McFall in statement stated that both houses agreed to decision about t organising All-Party Parliamentary Group China Meeting in parliament. sanctions by Chinese authorities on United Kingdom MP's were imposed in March.

decision has been condemned by a Chinese Embassy Spokesperson. Speaking on decision to ban its envoy from Parliament, a Chinese Embassy spokesperson has stated that decision of UK Parliament shows "narrow and parochial mindset of some individuals in UK". He termed decision of parliament as a "shortsighted, reckless and cowardly move" and ded that y "despise and strongly condemn" it. He furr stated that Chinese authorities sanctions on anti-China parliamentarians of UK were "justified and reasonable".
