Two people in the UK with the first confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus continued to be treated at the specialist Airborne High Consequences Infectious Disease Centre at the Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary on Saturday.
Both people, who are relatives, became ill during their stay at the StayCity hotel in York, in the north of England.
Public Health England (PHE) confirmed the apartment complex in the hotel where the people were staying has been disinfected, and officials continue to provide support.
The confirmation of cases came as evacuees from Wuhan, China - the epicentre of the new strain of coronavirus - arrived in the UK.
The 83 Britons and 27 non-UK nationals were taken by a convoy of buses with police escort to the Arrowe Park Hospital in Merseyside for observation on Friday.
They're expected to stay in an accommodation block usually used by National Health Service Staff.
