Eel trader Peter Wood is concerned that extra paperwork for his EU customers will see them look elsewhere for supply and said he would "never voted for Brexit if I knew we were going to lose our job."

UK Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove acknowledged that there would be "bumpy moments" ahead but said the government was working "intensively" to see that businesses were prepared for the first of January.
