The UK's finance minister Rishi Sunak will reportedly announce a multi-billion dollar rescue package for five million self-employed workers affected by virus.

United Kingdom's Finance Minister Rishi Sunak will reportedly anunce a multi-billion dollar rescue pack for Britain's five million self-employed workers affected by outbreak of Coronavirus. recent development came after Rishi Sunak on March 20 anunced that government will cover 80 percent of employers' w bill to prevent mass lay-offs.
According to reports, UK treasury took a week to draw up new pack to cover self-employed workers after facing criticism for t including m in initial plan.

As per reports, more than 2,000 musicians on March 22 wrote to Indian-origin minister about closure of ir workplaces due to COVID-19 outbreak. Media reports suggest that government is also making a separate bailout plan to rescue drowning airline industry in country that is facing most heat from lockdown across region and world.

United Kingdom has so far recorded more than 280 deaths from 5,683 confirmed coronavirus cases in country. re are currently 5,267 active cases in country, of which 20 patients remain under critical condition. United Kingdom has successfully treated more than 130 people since disease first broke out in December 2019.
