UK General Elections: Boris Johnson promises 'point-based' immigration

If British PM Boris Johnson's Conservative party wins the elections on December 12, he has promised to implement an immigration system which is point-based.

If Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson's Conservative party wins elections on December 12, Johnson has promised to implement an immigration system which is point-based. In or words, Conservative leader is vouching for lower immigration if he comes in power. However, in an interview with international media, he has said that his change in immigration policy does t mean he is being 'hostile' towards foreigners working and living in Britain overall.

general elections were called by Johnson in order to end deadlock in British parliament for deciding fate of Britain's divorce from 27-nation bloc. Johnson is rooting for Brexit by January 31, Australian based immigration system, foreign investments in state-run National Health Service. UK's main opposition, Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn is asking for a time period of six months for Brexit, more doctors and nurses for NHS.

Controlled immigration

Johnson believes that numbers of immigration will come down because government will be able to control it because it is 't right' to have an uncontrolled and unlimited inflow of foreigners in Britain. main focus for Conservative leaders will be to reduce unskilled migration because according to him, it will leave scope for more skilled workers to come in country. Johnson furr says that he is t being 'hostile to immigration' and is a believer of allowing people to come to UK, and if foreigners are able to contribute to country, n it is 'fantastic'.
