UK Govt faces questions on PPE supply

British Home Secretary Priti Patel said the unprecedented global health pandemic was responsible for PPE shortages for UK National Health Service  (NHS) workers.

Pushing back media criticisms, Patel said "there is a clear plan" to manufacture and source overseas protective clothing for health workers.The backlash came after the Health Secretary Matt Hancock implied the shortages were due to improper use by NHS staff.
