On September 22, Adviser Andrew Fisher, in his resignation, accused the Labor party of ‘class war’ as new discussions line up over the party’s position on Britain’s exit from European Union. Fisher, who is the key adviser to Jeremy Corbyn resigned from his position saying that the Labour leader is incompetent to win the upcoming general elections. Andrew Fisher, who was the mastermind behind the party’s 2017 manifesto asserted that he has lost his faith in the success of Labour Party. This is seen as a major setback for the Corbyn.
Fisher lost faith in Labour Party
In Fisher’s memo to British media, he stated that the members of the Corbyn’s party “lack professionalism, competence, and human decency”. Fisher also held them accountable for telling “blizzard of lies and excuses”. According to Fisher, the people in the power position are involved in a 'class war. On the other hand, the Labour party refused to comment on the accusations. Fisher in his statement to British media said that he would take time off until the autumn general elections and would rather like to spend time with his family and loved ones.

Fisher's resignation boiled new debates
Fisher’s accusation has revealed the inside politics of the party. A survey conducted by British media disclosed that the Tory Party is leading over the Labour Party by 15 points. This broke out a new discussion where the leadership which plans to delay the decision is re-thinking whether it should back Remain or Leave after a general election.

Andrew Fisher, the mastermind of 2017 general elections
Andrew Fisher has always been a controversial figure with the Labour party. In 2015, Fisher was suspended from the party for supporting a Class War candidate campaigning against Emily Benn, Tony Benn’s granddaughter during the general elections. Later, Benn demanded him to be expelled. After one year’s suspension, Fisher was positioned as Labour’s executive director of policy and was credited for Labour Party’s unexpected success in the 2017 general elections when Theresa May lost her majority.
