UK minister warns pubs of ‘shut down’, asks to follow rules amid COVID-19 surge
UK minister said the government wasn’t just “nicely asking”, but the country was on tipping point at the moment and it’s a mandate to follow the rules.

In a fresh warning due to second coronavirus wave in UK, health minister Matt Hancock asked pubs and bars in a televised dress to “follow rules” or he will have to force m close due to n-compliance to guidelines. Threatening that he will “t hesitate to shut down business”, Hancock said that UK government wasn’t just “nicely asking”, but country was on tipping point at moment and it’s a mandate to follow rules. Hancock’s comments came after reports of people flouting rules on ‘Super Saturday’ night at pubs emerged. People were seen violating public assembly protocol and social distancing measures outside bars and alcohol-serving establishments.
Speaking to UK’s leing brocaster, Sky, UK’s health minister said that while overall several people amid pandemic have acted responsibly, pictures related to Saturday night proved contrary. Hancock said that although he was “overall pleased” with people’s generic behaviour, he would like to remind business operations that COVDI-19 restrictions “will get tougher” if rules were n-compliant. Earlier, Boris Johnson ministration anunced £10,000 penalty for t self-isolating in case an individual h tested positive with vel coronavirus disease.

Household garing ban expected
Furr, in a televised dress, Hancock said that PM Johnson was considering imposing indoor or household garing ban and slimming operational hours for pubs amid recent upsurge of UK’s caselo and fatalities. “We have choice,” he said in a live-streamed dress to citizens on TV. Also, in 11:00 BST brocast hosted by Andrew Marr on BBC, UK’s chief medical viser, Prof Chris Whitty, and government's chief scientific viser, Sir Patrick Vallance warned that UK was “heing in wrong direction" with cases spiralling out of control. Whitty ded, saying, that country was in fact at an extremely "critical point” in pandemic and government was looking at data to draft plans about effectively handling this virus ahe of “very challenging” winters.
