The UK House of Commons resumed its sessions after the landmark judgement by the Supreme Court which called the suspension 'unlawful' by Boris Johnson

House of Commons in United Kingdom has resumed its meetings on September 25. British lawmakers return to parliament a day after Prime Minister of UK, Boris Johnson's suspension of parliament was declared “unlawful” by Supreme court. PM Johnson, suspended parliament for five weeks in order to speed - up Brexit process. However, judgement was passed on Tuesday by 11 sitting judges of supreme court and y also stated that Boris Johnson's term in office is a weak hold of power.

Supreme Court President, Ly Hale has also said that Boris Johnson's actions were unlawful because it h a “frustrating” effect on ability of Parliament to carry out ir functions and that too without a reasonable justification. Hale furr ded that this extreme prorogation came in exceptional situation and evidence proves need for such a prolonged suspension.

PM Johnson respects judges
In United Nations, when UK PM was asked if he would resign after judgement was me back in Supreme Court, he simply denied. He furr said that he respects judges and repeatedly kept saying that according to law, Britain's exit from European Union was due on October 31. According to PM Johnson, best thing about Brexit deal is that y are working hard for it. Moreover, he believes that suspension of parliament was rmal.
