United Kingdom anunced on Sunday that it was pledging an ditional sum of £ 200 million to World Health Organisation (WHO) and or charities to help slow spre of vel Coronavirus in vulnerable countries. amount is aimed at accelerating response efforts to stem second-wave of COVID-19 resurgence across nations worldwide which has killed more than 108, 994 people globally. 

United Nations' (UN) ncies such as WHO, Red Cross, and Charities in homeland and overseas are among organisations government donated an ditional pack of £ 200 million funds under UK aid scheme, International Development Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan said in a statement.  funds will be implemented to ramp up healthcare systems, she ded. refore, total funds pledged by UK in fight against COVID-19 have reached £ 744 million, Trevelyan said.

As per release, "A pack of £200 million will back UK charities and international organizations to help reduce mass infections in developing countries which often lack healthcare systems to track and halt virus."

Trevelyan said, "While our brilliant doctors and nurses fight coronavirus at home, we're deploying British expertise and funding around  world to prevent a second dely wave reaching UK."
