UN: Climate change a concern for Pope Francis as he addresses leaders

Pope Francis addressed world leaders via a video at the United Nations Climate Action Summit about the climate change posed a serious threat to the world

As per reports, on September 23, Pope Francis dressed leers of different countries via a video at United Nations Climate Action Summit. In his dress, he spoke about how climate change and present environmental conditions posed a serious challenge for world and re was still a window of opportunity wherein y could take steps to tackle ongoing problem. Pope Francis asked for elements of responsibility, honesty, and cour to be incorporated into actions to face one of most worrying concerns of today's time.

'Challenge of civilisation'

Pope ded that present situation didn't look good and earth was suffering due to global warming. But, world still h time to correct what went wrong. He asked leers to t let that opportunity pass by. He furr ded that y should be determined to help develop human society to provide for better living conditions for generations to come.

In his video dress, Pope has also asked for a slow and stey stop to be put against use of fossil fuels and also said that present crisis at hand should prod people into thinking about changing ir structures based on models of consumption and production.

This public dress of world leers was in response to issue of climate change that is being witnessed all around world and resulting in unwanted consequences but also it was an appeal to implement more ecomical solutions such as Paris agreement aimed at ensuring a cleaner ecomy and reverse impact caused by change in our climate.

Greta Thunberg's fight for her future

Meanwhile, a teen activist from Sweden by name of Greta Thunberg criticized global leers at UN youth climate summit on September 23 stating that y h t taken care of people from her generation by failing to control greenhouse gas emissions that ended with a question from her side that said: "How dare you?".

She berated world leers by telling m that her place at this point of time was in school and t at this st. Thunberg furr ded that leers h snatched away her dreams with ir meaningless promises as human beings were still dying and world around m is crumbling.

Thunberg ended her speech by saying that everyone was looking down upon leers and if y still failed n her generation would never forgive m.
