After violating consensus and attempting to alter status quo at LAC in Eastern Lakh, China has issued a statement defending its fresh transgression at border by blaming Indian side.  Chinese embassy on Tuesday, September 1 claimed that Indian troops violated consensus reached in previous multi-level engments and negotiations between China and India and latter illegally trespassed LAC at sourn bank of Pangong Tso Lake on August 31.

latest border tension between India and China escalated on Monday after a fresh confrontation by Chinese army PLA carried out 'provocative military movements' to unilaterally change status quo on sourn bank of Pangong Tso lake on intervening night of August 29 and 30, however attempt was thwarted by Indian troops, Army said on Monday.

Spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in India Counselor Ji Rong on China-India in its statement blamed India of 'flagrant provocations' and 'violating China’s territorial sovereignty' and asked country to immediately withdraw troops that have illegally trespassed LAC.

"China has me solemn representations to Indian side, urged Indian side to strictly control and restrain its frontline troops, earnestly hor its commitments, immediately stop all provocative actions, immediately withdraw its troops illegally trespassing Line of Actual Control, immediately stop any actions leing to escalation and complication of situation", Rong said in statment.

China Claims 'won't Complicate & Expand Situation' 

Meanwhile, China has also tried ar face-saver tactic at world st by highlighting its commitment to 'maintaining stability at Si-Indian border'. Speaking at French Institute of International Relations, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said that China will t take initiative to 'complicate and expand situation' along border with India, but ded that it needs to 'firmly safeguard its sovereignty & territorial integrity'. 

Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said that  border with India is 't demarcated' and refore problems arise from time-to-time, ding that China is 'willing to man problems with dialogue' and preached that India must t allow 'differences to become conflicts'. This comes even as Chinese PLA violated consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic talks over LAC standoff and unilaterally attempted to change status quo at LAC.

Earlier on Monday, China denied carrying out provocative military movement at LAC in Eastern Lakh on intervening night of August 29 and 30 and claimed that country's border troops have never crossed border. claim was me by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian who also emphasised on  People's Liberation Army's strict herence to LAC and ded that armies of both countries have been in touch over territorial issues.

Fresh violation at LAC by China

Indian Army revealed that Chinese troops h violated consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic talks over LAC standoff on Monday. Indian troops t only pre-empted activity of PLA on sourn bank of Pangong Tso lake but also thwarted attempts to unilaterally change facts on ground. Reiterating that Indian Army is committed to maintaining peace and tranquility through dialogue, spokesperson Colonel Aman Anand stressed that it is equally determined to protect its territorial integrity.

A Brige Commander-level flag meeting took place at Chushul to resolve issues on Monday. As per sources, both sides will hold Brige Commander level talks at same location again on Tuesday according to Indian Army Sources.
