US Coast Guard finds migrants in remote Bahamas island

A US Coast Guard air patrol transferred Haitian 41 migrants from Little Inagua, the largest inhabited island in the Caribbean, handing them to Bahamian authorities earlier this month.

MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew found migrants on September 10, while patroling remote area, 107 km (105 miles) North from Haiti.

US authorities stated re were no reports of injuries. aircrew transported migrants to Inagua International Airport where y will be processed by Bahamian authorities.
