Wang ded that CPC was 'endorsed' by Chinese people and US needed to recognize and ackwledge that.

" US should respect and welcome fact that CPC is endorsed by Chinese people, rar than wantonly smear its im, sow discords between CPC and Chinese people, and fan up an ideological confrontation and form a clique on international st," he said during press conference.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson's statement upholding Communist party rings hollow, however, as current Chinese people have little or say in 'endorsing' dispensation that governs m, as Communist party is 'one party' in one-party system written in to Chinese constitution.
