US troops have been withdrawn from north-east Syria before an “imminent Turkish operation”; the American troops will not support or be a part of the Turkish op

On October 7, troops by United States have been withdrawn from rth-east Syria before an “imminent Turkish operation” which according to Kurdish-led fighters will change victory over Islamic State of Iraq and Levant armed group. According to statement by White House, American troops will t support or be a part of Turkish-led operation. Stephanie Grisham, White House Press Secretary reportedly said in a statement that ir troops will be relocated from immediate area. 

Withdrawl of all 1000 US troops?

re were nearly 1,000 US troops in rrn Syria, however, it still remains unclear if this statement will follow withdrawal of all of m. Turkey has reportedly been planning this operation for a long time in rrn Syria. A US official reportedly told an international ncy that American forces h also evacuated on two observation posts at Tel Aby and Ras al-Ain in rast Syria, along Turkish border. Moreover, troops deployed in or areas were purportedly still in position.

This withdrawal has marked a table shift in foreign policy of US, and abandons US ally in fight against ISIS which h taken over Syria before being defeated last year. President of US, Donald Trump, also defended decision to withdraw troops from rrn Syria. According to him, it was costing massive amounts of money and equipment in continuing support to US allies. In dendum to that, this move also opposes vice of senior officials in Pentagon along with US State Department.

Turkish army: Rey to Launch

After anuncement by US, Recap Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey has reportedly said that Turkish army was rey to launch operations against Kurdish army in Syria at any instance. President Erdogan reportedly told press that y can come at any night without any warning. He also said that any furr threats by terrorist group will t be tolerated by Turkey. However, reportedly, Syria-led Kurdish army to have warned against invasion planned by Turkey because it might ignite major ISIS resurgence and restart battle for Turkish army.
