US Woman Wins $250,000 Lottery After Quick Stop for Orange Juice

New York: A woman from rth Carolina hit jackpot of $250,000 after stopping for orange juice and trying her luck with a lottery ticket. Kelly Spahr from Kernersville told rth Carolina Education Lottery officials that while grabbing orange juice at Quality Mart on Piney Grove Ro, she was drawn to lottery tickets, a news media reported.

"When I saw re were new tickets at gas station, I thought I'd give m a shot," Spahr said. " ticket h a folding part, which is what drew me in." she ded.

$20 Merry Multiplier scratch-off ticket she picked turned out  being a top prize winner worth $250,000.

"It's a life-changing amount for us," she said. 

"It really helps us out a lot." she ded.

Spahr shared that this win will greatly benefit her family. "This just opened up more doors for us," she ded.

Earlier, a lottery player got a call from his wife after she realized he h forgotten his lunch at home. Rar than turning back, he stopped at a grocery store to pick up something for lunch. Little did he kw, this detour would le him to win a $3 million (Rs 25.24 Crore) top prize on a "Millionaire Bucks" Scratchers game.

"I rmally don't play $30 tickets, but since I h $60 that I h won earlier on some or Scratchers tickets, I thought, 'Why t?'" winner said.

As he scanned ticket before leaving Schnucks on 3900 Vogel Ro in Arld, he saw screen display words "Lottery Winner."

"I was completely surprised! I didn't think I h won!" he said. "n I saw all zeros!"

He immediately called his wife back to share news.

"I enjoy playing jokes," he laughed. "It took a bit of convincing for her to believe me!"
