9/11 Anniversary: US Prez warns Taliban, says 'we'll hit you harder'

Marking 18th anniversary of deadly '9/11 attacks', US President Donald Trump on September 11 pledged to hit Taliban harder than ever. Trump participated in Pentagon Observance Ceremony at Pentagon to pay respect to ones who lost ir lives in one of world's worst terrorist attacks in 2001.  A few days ago, after bomb blast in Kabul by Taliban that left 12 dead including an American soldier, President Donald Trump ended peace talks with militant organisation in Afghanistan. negotiation of  USA with  Taliban was to take back American troops from Afghanistan.

Trump warns of severe consequences

US President Donald Trump along with his wife Melania went to Pentagon on Wednesday to pay respect to over 3,000 people who died in '9/11 attacks'. US President and First Lady participated in a moment of silence after which Trump gave a speech.

Trump said, " First Lady and I are united with you in grief. We cant erase pain or reverse evil of that dark and wretched day, but we offer you all that we have". He n explained how world ticed power of American defiance after attacks. US President n went on saying, "Eighteen years ago, terrorists struck this citadel of power and American strength, but enemies soon learned that y could t weaken spirit of our people".

American President also warned militants of severe consequences if y try to attack America again. He said, "y thought y would use this attack to show ir strength, but actually what y showed is unrelenting weakness". He even added to it that if terrorist organisations carry out ar attack on his country,  US troops will go wherever y are and use ir power, likes of which America has never used before.

Last week, an American soldier in Kabul was killed in a suicide car bomb blast which made Trump cancel all peace talks with militant organisation Taliban. US President Trump elaborated on this and said, "We had peace talks scheduled. A few days ago, I called m off when I learned that y had killed a great American soldier from Puerto Rico and 11 or incent people."

He went on warning terrorists saying, "And I'm t even talking about nuclear power. y will never have seen anything like what will happen to m". US President on his official twitter handle even shared a video of his speech writing -

US President Donald Trump on September 7, a few days before 18th anniversary of 9/11 attacks, shocked world while anuncing that he has cancelled secret meeting with his Afghanistan counterpart and Taliban near Washington. He decided to do so after re was a suicide car bomb attack in capital city of Afghanistan, Kabul, which took away lives of one American soldier and 11 or civilians. Taliban carried out attack after US envoy Zalmay Khalilzad to Afghanistan was on a visit to Kabul to brief Afghan Government on its negotiation with Taliban that would put an end to longest war in region.
