Beverage cart runs amok at Chicago airport dangerously close to plane

O'Hare airport in Chicago, Illiis, was witness to an incident on its tarmac that has since gone viral on social media platforms such as Twitter. An unusual scenario which was captured on video showcases an unmanned and an out of control cart going haywire on tarmac next to an unmanned plane. 

'Going round in circles'

bizarre video taken by Kevin Klauer, CEO, of American Osteopathic Association, has garnered over 5 million views and it shows an unmanned catering cart going in circles alongside dropping out bever cans and or items stocked up in its compartment. During video, an employee fallen on ground can be seen dragged away to safety by a fellow colleague.

At end of video, one of ground workers can be seen going out of frame with intentions initially unkwn but later on he came back into video with a red-colored vehicle used for lifting in order to stop out of control cart and he was successful in his endeavor when he rammed vehicle he was driving into cart to bring it to a halt.

A common man to rescue

video posted by Kevin witnessed a lot of comments pouring in for grounds worker whose quick thinking stopped problem that might have injured someone.

One user wanted employee to be compensated for what he did and stated that best part of video was end that included worker saving day.

airlines issued a statement thanking ir employee for his response to entire situation that resulted in dam being caused to plane or anyone around it.

According to reports, American airlines stated that issue was caused due to a jammed accelerator. Although, incident is being looked into by concerned authorities to narrow down on exact reason that led to this bizarre incident.
