Biden, Trump to visit Georgia to campaign for their candidates ahead of US Senate vote
US President-elect Joe Biden and the outgoing White House chief Donald Trump are both on Monday expected to visit Georgia to campaign for Senate election.

US President-elect Joe Biden and outgoing White House chief Donald Trump are both on Monday expected to visit Georgia to campaign for crucial Senate election in sourn state. According to Biden's team, former vice-president will visit Georgia's capital Atlanta on Monday to campaign for Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warck. Meanwhile, Trump h earlier anunced that he will be in state on January 4 to campaign for incumbent Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

Why Georgia is crucial?
election in Georgia is crucial for both parties and more so for Biden's Democratic party because it can flip control of Republicans in upper house of US Congress. US Senate is currently controlled by Republicans, who have 50 seats. If GOP wins one of two races in Georgia, it will be eugh for party to become a stumbling block for incoming Biden ministration. If Democrats win both races, it will give m 50 seats in 100-member house, but y will have Kamala Harris as President of Senate to give m that extra vote when needed.

Kamala Harris will also visit Georgia on Sunday, January 3 to campaign for Ossoff and Warck. Biden will reach Georgia next day to assure both candidates get full support during campaigning in order to secure vote on Tuesday. In vember, Biden became first Democratic presidential candidate since 1992 to win Georgia, which is historically a conservative state. Biden defeated Trump by a narrow margin, which led to president levelling allegations of election fraud and irregularities.
