Brexit trade agreement: Canada government introduces bill to implement deal with UK
The Canadian government on Wednesday introduced a bill to implement the post-Brexit trade agreement with the United Kingdom.

Canian government on Wednesday introduced a bill to implement post-Brexit tre agreement with United Kingdom. government introduced Cana-United Kingdom Tre Continuity Agreement (Cana-UK TCA) in House of Commons, which will ensure that all beneficial elements of previous tre deal with European Union remain intact as two countries engage in negotiations on a more vanced tre deal.

"Today, Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Tre, introduced Bill C-18, An Act to implement Cana-United Kingdom Tre Continuity Agreement (Cana-UK TCA), in House of Commons," Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement.

Cana-UK tre agreement
tariff-free tre agreement will come into force from January 1, a day after transition phase between United Kingdom and European Union ends. If opted by parliament, agreement will provide continued opportunities for Canian agriculture, fish, and seafood exporters. It will provide continued opportunities for service suppliers.
"Our goal, today and every day is to support Canian businesses and workers as y tre, export, and bring ir innovative products and services to world stage. I look forward to working with all parliamentarians to implement this agreement. We will soon get back to negotiating table with United Kingdom on next chapter in our thriving bilateral tre relationship," Mary Ng said in a statement.

United Kingdom officially left European Union on January 31, 2020, and will exit CETA of EU on December 31, which will require country to negotiate individual tre agreements with or nations. United Kingdom is currently busy negotiating a tre agreement with European Union, which has hit a stumbling block over a range of issues between two sides. UK-EU tre agreement is important because a no-deal exit would cause difficulties for companies on both sides.
