Donald Trump lambasts 'incompetent' Biden for escalating tensions between China and Taiwan

During his dress at a GOP event in South Carolina, US President Donald Trump on Saturday blamed POTUS Joe Biden for "aggravating" situation between China and Taiwan. event came just days after former president was indicted in 2020 election interference case. With this, Trump created history by being indicted in three monumental cases. 

former US President claimed that Chinese President Xi Jinping “lost respect” for US after Joe Biden was elected. Trump stated that China would not be going into Taiwan if he was president. “President Xi is awfully close to wanting to go because he thinks your leer is incompetent," he said. former reality TV star bashed both Joe Biden and called him “ most incompetent and corrupt president” of United States. 

Tensions started escalating between China and Taiwan after former Speaker of House, Nancy Pelosi, visited island region in 2022. Since n, China has intruded on Taiwanese territory multiple times while Taipei conducted joint military exercises with US in retaliation. While Washington heres to Beijing’s “One China Policy”, US has maintained diplomatic ties with Taiwan, making Xi Jinping ministration extremely concerned.  

Trump calls Biden a 'crooked guy'

Trump went on to proclaim that Russia would have never tried to inve Ukraine if he was in office. “With me in office, Russia would have never inved Ukraine and China would not be even thinking about going into Taiwan. I would talk to President Xi and I would talk to President Putin, zero chance, y knew you cannot do that,” he said. Trump exclaimed that Biden is “worse than five worst US Presidents combined”. “If you took five worse presidents in history of United States and ded m up, y would not have done destruction to our country as crooked Joe Biden and Biden ministration have done, he is a crooked guy,” he stated. 

 former US President concluded his speech by calling 2024 elections -- “Final battle”. He pledged to “drain swamp once and for all” to make America great again.
