Donald Trump: Over 1 million Americans tested for coronavirus

Speaking from White House’s Rose Garden, Donald Trump said it was milestone for the US in its battle against the coronavirus to have conducted those many tests.

US President Donald Trump reportedly anunced on March 30 that United States has tested over 1 million people for COVID-19 disease, as Trump showed  new rapid test kit, launched earlier, that gives results for coronavirus within five minutes. He told press conference while speaking from White House’s Rose Garden, that it was milestone for America in its battle against coronavirus to have conducted those many tests.

According to US media reports, Health and Human Services Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services [HHS], Alex Azar confirmed as well that US attained significantly higher figures in terms of tests, ding that it was a “number country has reached”. He stressed that US was w testing roughly over 100,000 samples per day. Trump’s Abbott Laboratories testing kits anuncement comes when, only recently, company was given emergency clearance for production by  US Food and Drug ministration. It claimed that cartridge-based kit detected negative cases in less than 13 minutes.

Ford to manufacture ventilators

ditionally, during news conference, Trump also anunced that US automaker Ford was re-constructing an auto parts factory in west of Detroit to begin manufacture of ventilators, as he h proposed. He claimed that Ford is expected to deliver over 50,000 ventilators rey by April 20. automaker’s plant in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan, might be able to produce over 30,000 ventilators every month, said Trump. He furr ded saying that GE Healthcare was working in collaboration with Ford to enhance numbers.
