President Donald Trump has said that America w has its eye on a new Islamic State leer, telling Ecomic Club of New York that "we kw where he is." Trump didn't mention name of new target, but he is likely referring to Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, man who has been named to replace Abu Bakr al-Baghdi as he of terror group.
Al-Baghdi took his own life last month as US commandoes closed in on him in rrn Syria. In a speech Tuesday, Trump said US got al-Baghdi, n got "his second" and w, "we have our eye on his third. His third has got a lot of problems because we kw where he is, too." Little is publicly kwn about al-Qurayshi, and group typically identifies its leers using pseudonyms that refer to ir tribal affiliation and line.

group does t have a clear hierarchy and few details are kwn about remaining top leers. US Army special operations forces chased al-Baghdi into a de-end tunnel on a compound where he h been hiding, and he set off a suicide vest he was wearing.
"second" that Trump mentioned was likely Abu Hassan al-Muhajir, a close aide of al-Baghdi and a spokesman for group since 2016. He was killed in a joint US and Kurdish military operation just hours after al-Baghdi's death. Ar "second," however, could be Fhil Ahm al-Hayali, who was described as group's 2 and was killed in August 2015 by a US airstrike in Iraq.

This is also second time in two days that Trump has warned about US targeting a leer of group. Speaking in New York City on Monday at opening of 100th annual pare organised by United War Veterans Council in Mison Square Park, Trump said "al-Baghdi is de. His second in charge is de.
We have our eyes on number 3." Al-Baghdi led IS as it sought to establish an Islamic "caliphate" across Syria and Iraq. It's unclear what impact his death may have on group, but US officials and military commanders have said repeatedly that pockets of insurgents remain in Iraq and Syria and are still intent on conducting attacks.
