In a reply to earlier tweets of Pompeo, Chenny said, " Trump/Biden calamity unfolding in Afghanistan began with Trump administration negotiating with terrorists and pretending y were partners for peace, and is ending with American surrender as Biden abandons country to our terrorist enemies. Both Trump and Biden are responsible for chaos: Cheney

On Friday, she also joined a television interview to discuss ongoing situation in Afghanistan. While replying to a question of reporter, Cheney said that disaster, catastrophe that we’re watching unfold right w across Afghanistan did t have to happen. "It’s t just that people predicted that this would happen, everyone was warned that this would happen. We’ve w created a situation where we get to 20th Anniversary of 9/11, we are surrendering Afghanistan to terrorist organization that housed al Qaeda when y plotted and planned attacks against us," added Cheney in a statement released after interview.

When asked about taking responsibility for current situation in Afghanistan, she held both Biden and Trump accountable for humanitarian crisis that Afghanistan is facing right w. "I think that, absolutely, President Biden bears responsibility for making this decision, but re is question that President Trump, his administration, Secretary Pompeo, y also bear very significant responsibility for this. y walked down this path of legitimizing Taliban, of perpetuating this fantasy, telling American people that Taliban were a partner for peace. President Trump told us that Taliban was going to fight terror. Secretary Pompeo told us that Taliban was going to reunce al Qaeda. ne of that has happened, ne of it has happened," said Cheney.

Or Western countries have also closed ir missions and are flying out staff and civilians. Meanwhile, at Kabul airport, a steady stream of people makes ir way first to ticket sale counters set up on parking lot outside terminal. y push ir lugg, load carts with carpets, television sets and mementoes, stuff clos inside purses to make ir weight limit as y slowly inch forward. lucky ones, those who mand to get a ticket for a flight out to anywhere, n wait more than three hours to make it inside terminal, bidding tearful goodbyes to loved ones y are leaving behind.
