Wray went on to say that China had numerous ways of collecting information about US, using government officials, as well as what he called "n-traditional collectors, which could be businessmen, high-level scientists, high-level academics, people like that, all of whom are in different ways incentivised to steal American invation and confidential information and take it back to China."

Wray's comments come as US President Donald Trump's national security adviser warned China on Wednesday that United States is waking up to threat that it believes Chinese Communist Party poses “to our great way of life” and will act to check spread of Beijing's ideology.
