US FBI levels unprecedented allegations against China: thievery, cyber wars & blackmail
FBI Director Christopher Wray, on July 7, said that half of 5,000 active FBI counterintelligence cases currently underway across the US were related to China.

FBI Director Christopher Wray on July 7 said that half of nearly 5,000 active FBI counterintelligence cases currently underway across US were related to China. Calling out China, he said that Communist nation was constantly working to compromise American healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical companies and acemic institutions conducting essential COVID-19 research. Terming it as "greatest long-time threat to US’ national intellectual property an ecomic vitality", FBI director ded that Chinese ft was largest transfer of wealth in history.
“We’ve w reached point where FBI is opening a new China-related counterintelligence case every 10 hours. Of 5000 active FBI counterintelligence cases currently underway across country, almost half were related to China", he said.
'China's war'
Wray also accused China of trying to w a war and become sole superpower of world, but by unlawful means. He said that unlike US, Chinese Communist Party does t give its citizens freedom of thought speech and creativity.

Wray highlighted that Chinese use a variety of techniques-from cyber intrusions to corrupting trusted insiders and physical ft for purpose. American official said that China h pioneered an expansive approach to stealing invation through a wide range of actors. Elaborating furr, he said that Chinese do that through t only government officials but also through private companies, gruate students and researchers.

"China is engd in a highly sophisticated malign foreign influence campaign" which includes methods such as bribery, blackmail and covert deals. In dition, he also revealed that a Chinese general ha, since 2014, spearheed a programme kwn as 'Foxhunt' to target Chinese nationals living abro or Chinese he sees as a threat.

As part of recent developments, United States anunced visa sanctions on several Chinese officials who, it believes, are restricting foreigners' access to Tibet. This comes as ar blow to Chinese authorities from Trump ministration which has constantly deunced its treatment of Hong Kong as well as slammed human rights violation in Xinjiang province and Chinese aggression in South China Sea.
