The deadliest blaze in the Northern California, United States has caused 76 deaths till date and left thousands of them homeless. The uproar caused to human civilisation has equally traumatised animals, while the region was up in fierce flames.

Reeking of desolation and despair, these photos shared on social media of some animals reflect the ferocity of the wildfire.  While animal welfare and local rescue centers are sheltering the fire-affected animals, Hollywood actress Sandra Bullocks has donated $100,000 for them.

People are also leveraging social media to find their dislocated pets and spread awareness about the affected wildlife. The scarring images show the plight of this fire, and the extend of its impact.
