HBO asks Donald Trump to not use 'Game of Thrones' inspired memes for politics
HBO has once again asked US President Donald Trump to stay away from using memes inspired by its hit series "Game of Thrones" for "political purpose"

HBO has once again asked US President Donald Trump to stay away from using memes inspired by its hit series "Game of Thrones" for "political purpose".
On Thursday, April 18 Trump put out a tweet with a "GOT"-inspired meme after US Attorney General Bill Barr reiterated that re was collusion between president's 2016 election campaign and Russia. He, however, tweeted well before report was me public.

In meme that used "GOT" fonts, Trump is seen with his back to camera, wearing his tremark black overcoat. Staying true to essence of epic fantasy series, backdrop is a mix of mist or fog.
" COLLUSION, OBSTRUCTION. For haters and rical left Democrats -- GAME OVER," it said.
In response to Trump's tweet, network released a statement asking him to refrain from such activities.

"Though we can understand enthusiasm for 'Game of Thrones' w that final season has arrived, we still prefer our intellectual property t be used for political purposes," HBO said, as quoted by Hollywood Reporter.
This is t first time HBO objected to Trump and his team drawing inspiration from "GOT". Last vember, US President tweeted a photo with a slogan that resembled popular "GOT" catchphrase "Winter is Coming".

"Sanctions are coming - vember 5," was written in text reminiscent of "Game of Thrones" title font.
