Here's what Donald Trump said about Osama Bin Laden's son Hamza purportedly being killed under his Presidentship

Al-Qaeda's Hamza bin Laden was very threatening to the US, President Donald Trump said Thursday as he refrained from making any comment on news reports about the death of the son of Osama bin Laden.

Al-Qaeda's Hamza bin Len was very threatening to US, President Donald Trump said Thursday as he refrained from making any comment on news reports about death of son of Osama bin Len.

"I can't comment about that. But he was very threatening to our country.  He was saying very b things about our country," Trump told reporters at White House when asked if US h any role in death of Hamza bin Len.

US media on Wednesday, quoting unnamed officials, reported that Hamza bin Len was killed during first two years of Trump ministration. re has been official confirmation of it from United States.

"If confirmed, his death represents ar blow to Al-Qaeda, whose ranks were hollowed out by relentless American attacks and by rise of Islamic State, said New York Times, which was first US publication to report about it.

"But I can't comment," Trump said when asked about death of successor of Osama bin Len.

"But I will say, Hamza bin Len was very threatening to our country, and you can't do that. Anything beyond that, I have comment," Trump said.

According to New York Times, Hamza was t older than 30. "Because he carries most famous name in terrorism, younger bin Len is able to draw on devotion that jihists around world feel for his far," daily reported.  

For se reasons, Al-Qaeda hoped that Hamza bin Len would be a unifier, appealing t just to group's base but also to recruits it lost to ISIS, US daily said.
