However, according to Mary Jordan’s book Art of her Deal: Untold Story of Melania Trump, First Ly opposed move. book published in Washington Post described dynamic among Trump family and rivalry between Melania and Ivanka in initial days of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Jordan has claimed that Melania did t even want to move into White House and even resisted shifting by staying in Trump Tower with son, Barron while prenuptial agreement was being negotiated with her husband. While First Ly was absent from White House, Donald Trump’s first daughter Ivanka was hustling for influence. According to book, viser to US President sought to shift her office in East Wing, part of White House which is reserved for First Ly.

According to an international media outlet, White House spokesperson Judd Deere has denied claims me in book and said, “this is totally false”. Furrmore, he accused media to carry out “untrue information” from unidentified sources without checking in with White House of US President’s viser.
However, spokesperson for Simon and Schuster, book’s publisher told an international media ncy back in April that Jordan h spoken to Melania but ‘White House declined her request to speak with her for book or to respond to written questions’. Ivanka w remains in West Wing and performs her role in Trump ministration and is also part of several entrepreneurship initiatives.
