JetBlue becomes first US airline to make face masks mandatory for passengers

In a new flying etiquette, JetBlue Airways has become first US airline to make it mandatory for passengers to wear face protective masks on planes during coronavirus pandemic. New York-based airline anunced in an official statement on website that in accordance with Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, airlines requires all passengers and staff aboard to “mandatorily” wear masks, effective May 4, during check-in, to boarding, in-flight and deplaning.
