"It was a complete waste of time. I knew more than y did," Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said after meeting on status of investigation into Khashoggi's assassination.

tably, United State President Donald Trump ministration has alrey missed a February deline to file a final report to Congress on Khashoggi's death. Khashoggi was killed and his body was allegedly dismembered in October last year in Istanbul.
Washington has long blamed Saudi's royal family, particularly Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of orchestrating scribe's killing that took place inside. re were also reports that Khashoggi’s body was possibly burned in an oven at Saudi consulate general’s residence.

An investigation by Al Jazeera into assassination of journalist also revealed that burning of outdoor furnace was monitored by Turkish authorities. Khashoggi was assassinated in Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2 last year.
Bags believed to be carrying his body parts were transferred to Saudi Consul’s house situated a few hundred meters away, according to report. worker who constructed furnace stated that furnace could withstand temperatures above 1000 degrees Celsius, and was built according to specifications from Saudi consul.

Traces of Khashoggi’s blood were also found on walls of Saudi consul’s office.
