McConnell: 'Time to move on' after Trump acquittal
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says "it's time to move on" now that President Donald Trump has been acquitted in the impeachment trial.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says "it's time to move on" w that President Donald Trump has been acquitted in impeachment trial.
"We voted. We've had a number of internal meetings to discuss all of this, which you all ended up kwing a good deal about and writing about. It's time to move on," said McConnell.

"This decision has been made, as far as I'm concerned. It's in rearview mirror and consequences of it in terms of future are up to voters of country to decide who y want to lead government."

" main thing that drove Andrew Johnson's impeachment was y just didn't like it. Sound familiar?," said McConnell.

McConnell went on to say focus for his party is w election for president and his fellow Senators.
