While the world paid tribute to the martyrs of the Twin Tower attack, the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) Melania Trump, on Wednesday -11 September 2019, made yet another fashion blunder. In a solemn tweet by US President Donald Trump, he shared a picture of himself standing with his wife on a balcony, facing away. The post titled 'We will never forget' shows Melania Trump wearing a navy blue coat with an intricate outline on the back. The outline apparently depicts a tower with the plane passing through it.

Melania's 'I don't really care' coat

Previously in June 2018, Melania Trump had stoked controversy when she made another insensitive fashion choice while visiting detained children in Texas. As per international reports, the FLOTUS was seen wearing a green coat bearing the legend 'I really don't care, do you?'. She was reportedly on damage control mission after her husband's disastrous immigration policy of separating children of illegal immigrants at the border and detaining them in cages. In rebuttal to the critics, Melania had rubbished any inner meaning into her unfortunate choice of coat saying, "It's a jacket. There was no hidden message. After today's important visit to Texas, I hope the media isn't going to choose to focus on her wardrobe," while addressing reporters.
