New Mexico reports 226 more coronavirus cases, 3 more deaths
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in New Mexico has increased by 226 with three additional deaths also reported Sunday. That raises the state’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 21,016 with 654 known deaths.

Health officials report 61 of new cases were residents of Bernalillo County, state’s largest county that includes Albuquerque.

Lea, McKinley and Luna counties h highest numbers of coronavirus cases per capita in New Mexico over past two weeks, according to an Associated Press analysis of data collected by Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering.
De Baca county is only one of state’s 33 counties without a confirmed COVID-19 case, according to AP analysis.
