Sept. 11 memorial and Tunnel to Towers foundation tussled over Tribute in Light, a pair of powerful beams that shine into night sky near tre center, evoking its fallen twin towers.

9/11 memorial initially canceled display, citing virus safety concerns for installation crew.

After foundation vowed to put up lights inste, memorial changed course with help from its chair, former Mayor Mike Bloomberg, and Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
