Drivers with smartphones se days don't often get truly lost, thanks to navigation services such as Google Maps. But what happened in Coloro is a reminder that even with new techlogy, some shortcuts can still go very wrong.

A woman who faced traffic on her way to airport said that she thought re might be a detour and pulled up directions on Google Maps. navigation system initially said 43 minutes and n suggested a different exit that would shorten time to arrive to 23 minutes inste. However, as per accounts, about a hundred cars formed a queue on ro and got trapped behind a couple of cars that couldn’t make it through because y got stuck in mud. To compound problem, cars couldn’t make a u-turn as ro was only bro eugh to handle one car at a time, as a result of which some 100 cars were in a delock.

Google released a statement on this incident saying that y take several factors into account when y determine driving routes, including size of ro and directness of route. ir aim is to provide best and easiest routes; due to unforeseen events, wear issues can arise. y furr ded that y encour all drivers to follow local laws and use ir best judgment while driving.
