PM Modi meets his Belgian counterpart on the sidelines of UNGA
PM Modi met with Belgian PM Charles Michel on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The two leaders reviewed the strong relations between the two nations.

Smooth bilateral relations
Both leers reviewed excellent relations between India and Belgium and follow-up decisions taken during visit of His Majesty King of Belgium to India in 2017. y discussed intensification of strategic and security relations between India and EU.
two leers also agreed to intensify ir efforts on early conclusion of negotiations on Bilateral Investment and Tre Agreement, connectivity, closer cooperation on counter-terrorism, multilateral institutions, and migration and mobility. two leers also agreed that 15th India-EU Summit should be held at an early date.

It was ar hectic day for PM Modi on sidelines of United Nations General Assembly, where he h multiple meetings with leers from across world as well as with business leers from various sectors, industries and companies such as Mariott, Coca Cola, Shell, IBM, etc. PM also met with Caricom leers in first-ever India-CARICOM leers' Meeting. CARICOM leers represent ' Caribbean Community and Common Market', which is a group of twenty developing countries in Caribbean region.

Big push to invest in India
PM Modi started his day by attending Bloomberg Global Business Forum in New York. event was le by Michael Bloomberg and PM Modi delivered a keyte dress, where he showed India's romap to achieve target of making it a $5 trillion ecomy. He invited investors to India stating that re were multiple benefits in doing so and he also said that India le with 'four Ds' - democracy, demography, demand and decisiveness. At event, he also highlighted that Bloomberg National Brand Tracker 2018 survey recently ranked India as top-performing Asian ecomy in attracting global investment. In 7 out of 10 indicators of this report i.e. political stability, currency stability, high-quality products, anti-corruption, low cost of production, strategic location and respect for IPRs, India has been ranked at top position.
