Protests against the Pakistan government grow louder in New York

Protests have spread out in NY, displaying their intentions while shouting outside the UN HQ and displaying their intent on trucks and cabs across the city

Protests against Pakistan and its Prime Minister Imran Khan grew louder in New York over week, with protestors calling out crimes committed in country. protestors have spre out, displaying ir intentions, be it shouting outside United Nations Hequarters, or even through exhibiting ir thoughts on trucks and yellow New York cabs.

Protests throughout week

On Thursday, two trucks displaying atrocities committed by state in Karachi were spotted in city. two trucks later were later also seen parked outside Westin hotel, where  South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) leers met, on sidelines of United Nations General Assembly.  trucks h an electronic display, which showed multiple messs against country. display re, 'Pakistan Stop supporting religious extremists', 'Justice for Karachi', 'Stop Human Rights Abuses in Karachi', '#Greater Karachi', and trucks also showed many pictures of crimes committed by state. protest was le by an organization called 'Voice of Karachi'. 

On Friday, protests h spre over to cabs as well, with many yellow cabs displaying messs 'Protect Human Rights', 'Justice for Karachi' on vertising section on top of cabs. campaign against Pakistan has been all out and has been me clear by demonstrators. Voice of Karachi is a US-based vocacy group that is committed to raising global awareness about plight in Karachi.

Continued protests all over globe

At United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) meet in Geneva a few weeks ago, various protestors lined up in Geneva to protest against crimes committed by Pakistan. re were signs of ‘Stop Baloch Gecide' in protests le by various n-governmental organizations and civil society groups. activists and protestors h organized poster campaign to highlight crimes committed by Pakistan and to divert attention to "enforced killings and disappearances."

re were protestors lined up outside UN HQ on Friday when Pakistan Prime Minister was scheduled to deliver his speech to General Assembly. In his speech, Khan spoke at length about atrocities committed by Indian government on religious mirities but igred globally kwn and proven crimes committed by its ally, China.
