Donald Trump claims Russia, Saudi Arabia 'close to reaching a deal' as oil prices plummet
Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump claims that Russia and Saudi Arabia were close to reaching an agreement in regards to oil prices.

Amidst coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump claims that Russia and Saudi Arabia were close to reaching an agreement regarding plummeting oil prices. According to reports, Trump me his remarks during a press briefing at White House, press briefing occurred immediately after President h reportedly h a conference call with Russian President Vlimir Putin and Saudi leer Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

As per reports, Trump furr ded that two nations were getting close to a deal. Trump claimed that Russia and Saudi Arabia would anunce some deal or measure very soon. Recently oil prices have plummeted due to an ongoing Russian-Saudi price war, rivalry has caused both countries to increase production. Ar factor that has contributed to low price of oil is global ecomic paralysis that has been triggered by coronavirus pandemic. According to reports, Trump has said that situation regarding price of oil and its heightened production was so ‘catastrophic’ that ‘re's t eugh room to even store it’.

Iran wants to be allowed to sell oil
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamm Jav Zarif has asked United States to stop sanctions on Iran’s oil exports. As per reports, Mohamm Jav Zarif me call on April 7. Zarif took to Twitter and claimed that Iran was rich in human and natural resources and did t need help from United States.

Mohamm Jav Zarif furr ded that all Iran needed was United States to stop preventing Iran from selling oil and or products. According to reports, on April 5 Iran’s envoy to Belgium asked European Union to oppose US sanctions on Iran during coronavirus pandemic.
