The search to find “Glee” TV show star Naya Rivera in a Southern California lake resumed on Sunday and will now include boats and expand to nearby cabins.

Sgt. Shannon King of the Ventura Sheriff's Department said the search for the missing actress in what "appears to be a very tragic accident" is set to continue, at least, through Tuesday and will include an area known as the Devil's Gate.

Sonar and robotic devices have been used in the search since last week.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said last Thursday that they believe Rivera, 33, drowned in Lake Piru, northwest of Los Angeles.

Her 4-year-old son was discovered alone in a rented boat.

Authorities believe Rivera drowned in the Southern California lake where she went missing and don't suspect foul play.

Officials said surveillance video showed Rivera and her four-year-old son parking and entering the boat dock in the recreation area at the lake, 55 miles (89 kilometers) northwest of downtown Los Angeles, on Wednesday afternoon.

She had experience boating on the lake but about three hours later, the man who rented them the pontoon boat found the boy alone on it wearing a life vest.

The boy told investigators he and his mother had gone swimming, and he had gotten back on the boat, but she hadn't.
