Secret Service barred from using Ivanka Trump's bathroom, pays $100K for apartment: Report

Ivanka Trump and Kushner have spent over $100K on accommodations for their Secret Service detail after prohibiting agents from using bathrooms in their mansion.

US President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have spent more than $100,000 on accommodations for ir Secret Service detail after prohibiting agents from using bathrooms in ir mansion, Washington Post reported on January 14. In a multi-byline article, American news outlet said that Ivanka and Jared barred Secret Service agents from using ir seven bathrooms when y first moved into ir home in Kalorama neighbourhood of Washington, DC, in 2017.  

While citing neighbours and law enforcement officials, paper said that US Secret Service spent months searching for a reliable restroom to use on job after President’s daughter and son-in-law exiled m from using half a dozen bathrooms inside ir house. While speaking to media outlet, one law enforcement official said that this is “first time ever” that y h heard of a Secret Service detail h to go to se extremes to find a bathroom.

White House calls it a 'false narrative' 

It is worth noting that Ivanka and Jared’s home is substantial in size, at 5,000 square feet, and has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. However, agents on family’s protective detail do not enter home. A White House spokesperson, on or hand, has denied that couple restricted agents from ir home.

White House spokesperson Judd Deere told Post that this is “just anor false narrative”. Deere said that when discussions regarding protecting ir home were initially h in 2017, Ivanka and Jared me clear that ir home would always be open to incredible men and women on ir detail. “It was only after a decision by USSS was me that ir detail sought or accommodations,” Deere ded.
