A 35-year-old official in US state department, Mina Chang, exaggerated things mentioned on her Resume, faked her picture on Times magazine cover and secured a job at US state department. According to reports, her picture on Times cover with a heline, "We change world: Modern humanitarian in digital ", was one of few things that she bought to her interview in year 2017. At time she gave interview, Chang was a chief executive at a nprofit organization and she also featured in a show where she spoke about measures to restrict influence of extremist groups like Islamist state and Boko Haram.
False claims by Mina Chang
An investigation was launched and it was found out that Times magazine cover was just one of fabricated things she h used to secure state department job. It was revealed that Chang has exaggerated her work history and me false claims about her professional background.

According to reports, Chang was in line for a promotion to a senior level at US ncy for International Development's Bureau for Asia but her candidature was suddenly removed without any explanation. Officials of Trump-led-ministration stated that state department did t dress ir questions about Mina Chang's alleged qualifications.

'Lies'
Mina mentioned in her department biography that she was an alumnus of prestigious Harvard Business School and is also someone who h dressed Democratic and Republican National Conventions. However, Harvard business school chief marketing and communications officer, Brian Kenny, stated that Chang was enrolled and completed an 8-week course titled vanced Manment Program, a course very different from regular master's ministration degree.

Chang's claims of dressing conventions seemed to be false as she dressed an international affairs policy summit that took place during both Democratic and Republican conventions but was t a convention sponsored event.
According to reports, she h also exaggerated level of her nprofit's work as she stated that organisation h its presence in a lot of countries, helping a lot of people but records of her nprofit's tax filings did t have solid information about projects in foreign lands and also showed a budget of $300,000 with only a few people employed as staff members.
