Shree Saini collapses before Miss World America finals
Shree Saini, the Indian origin Americal collapsed before the final night of Miss World America. She was taken to the hospital and is currently under observation

In an unfortunate incident, Indian American Shree Saini collapsed before Miss World America's last leg of the competition. Taking to her daughter’s Instagram, her mother informed that the 23-year-old will stay in the hospital for a "cardiac arrest watch".
Ekta Saini posted on her daughter's Instagram handle giving an update about Shree Saini's health. "Please pray for my daughter Shree Saini. This is Ekta Saini, Shree's mom. Shree collapsed right before Miss World America's final night of competition, which started with an evening gown," she said.

Netizens flooded the comments section as they gave their best wishes to the Miss World America contestant and also wished her for a speedy recovery.

Saini's Journey from being bullied to becoming Miss India USA
Saini has survived severe facial burns, constant bullying, and has also undergone heart surgery to get a pacemaker installed at a young age of 12. Shree Saini was crowned as Miss India USA in the year 2017.
Upon winning the Miss India USA pageant in 2017, Shree Saini said, "I believe in working together to create a hole that is greater than the sum of its parts," Shree said, whose parents migrated to the US from Punjab. During her interaction, Saini also said that she wants to eliminate human trafficking and work towards promoting the importance of emotional well-being in society.

According to the official site of Miss World America, Shree, who has studied at prestigious universities like Yale and Harvard, has created an app on emotional health at Stanford University.
