Swiss tourists recreate Homer Simpson's food tour in New Orleans
Two Swiss tourists by the name of Janine Wiget and Katrin von Niederhausern have recreated a part of the Simpsons episode titled 'Lisa Gets the Blues'.

Two Swiss tourists, Janine Wiget and Katrin von Niederhausern, have recreated a part of Simpsons episode titled Lisa Gets Blues that was first aired on April 22, 2018. Simpson's episode begins with Homer telling Lisa that you find out a thousand things to love about this city such as Lamb tagine, Cajun crawfish. recreation of particular segment took a week wherein two lies can be seen visiting 54 restaurants in a video length of a minute and 27 seconds and viral video me by graphic designers has garnered over a million views.
Homer's food tour
Tourism company, New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corp's CEO, Mark Romig said that it is remarkable what se two lies have achieved in creating a classic piece of art. In video titled Homer, Katrin and Janine Eat ir way Through New Orleans, illustrators have recreated every frame in exact same way. frame that has Homer stuffing french fries, can be seen when woman in video is imitating him. During episode, when Homer moves his fingers over a dish of crawfish outside Bevi Seafood outlet, same thing is being replicated in video.

Wiget said that Homer sure was a man who fascinated ors but t someone with best of manners. Janine furr ded that in order to get correct angles, y h to lie down on tables, eat with ir hands and put a humungous amount of Shrimps and french fries in ir mouths.

Janine and Katrin, friends since college, looked up all restaurants that featured in episode and chalked out a detailed plan. y spent more than 5 hours restaurant hopping, buying food, and capturing moments with a cell phone and a tripod stand.
duo said that manrs of almost all restaurants y covered, laughed and gave m free pass to do whatever y wanted to. y furr ded that during shooting of video, y understood that people living in New Orleans loved ir culture and how proud restaurants were after being featured in that particular episode.

Katrin and Janine questioned mselves a lot of times while y were making video but all that changed when y reviewed everything y h captured and that me m complete what y started.
animator for Simpsons, Eric Koenig, commented on ir YouTube p that people at animation studio were blown away after y saw video and this resulted in Swiss lies being called over to studio and for a table reing in Los Angeles. Mark Romig said that se two h created something magical and if y ever came back to visit New Orleans, he would buy m a meal or two for wonderful video y h created.
